Dear Families,
We are excited to announce that we adopted a new form of school-to-home communication at Redding Elementary School District called ParentSquare. This unified communications platform informs parents and guardians and encourages greater engagement and connection with your school. It provides a safe way for district administrators, school principals, teachers, staff, and parents to:
- Send and receive school and class information
- Share pictures and files
- See calendar items
- Sign up to volunteer
- Schedule parent-teacher conferences
- and much more . . . all in one centralized place!
Parents—Getting Started Video
In years past, your school may have used different communication platforms such as School Messenger, Classtag, Remind, Dojo, or others. Starting the 24-25 school year, ParentSquare will replace all of those platforms and become the standard form of communication between teachers, school offices, and parents at all sites. Download the ParentSquare app (free for iOS and Android devices) for even more convenience.
In Redding Elementary Schools, we strive to keep students, families, and the community connected to the amazing things happening daily; ParentSquare will be a new platform to further achieve this goal at the classroom, school, and district levels. As a parent, you will receive more information from your school when offices reopen the third week of July.
Thank you for being part of the Redding Schools family.
